I received this email the other day, and I checked the site, but no mention of Drakeville on the site. I guess stay tuned to the site for new info.

Subject: Drakeville
Since you have updated your site recently, I thought i would give you a heads up.
I have taken over the programming and rights to Drakeville. I am currently working on updating the source code and fixing many of the bugs. I should have a release sometime in the near future via damned software: a division of demonic productions. This update should fix some of the prompt and display bugs, updated graphics and remove all registration references as this will be a freeware release.

I also updated "The Books" since it was from 10/2007

Here is a bit of info from Ryan Christie. You can read his entire post in the forums:
...Exitilus Online will be an adaption (@ best; there's no direct source to work with) of Exitilus 2.05 by Tao Ge written in PHP/MySQL. I am also hoping to use a generous serving of AJAX
along the way to aid in flow, and have adopted jQuery as the JavaScript framework upon which the beast will rest. That said, this will be a huge task. If anyone would like to be involved
with the project that has a programming background, get in touch with me and I'll see what you can do.
I will also be looking for some designers and/or illustrators to get involved with the project sooner or later. While I would love it if ANSI art translated perfectly to large resolution
screens, this has not been my experience so far Wink I want Exitilus Online to look as good as the original, only as if the original had been released in 2008 and not 1996! I suck at art.
You know what I mean. :-p
I think it's about time Exitilus gets back in the picture. I love this game too much to see it go.
Cheers!

BIG DoorGames Sale Going on !
Just to let you know, we are having a Major Fall Sale at UltraSoft.
This is the best pricing we've ever had. If someone registers 4 or more games up to 7, they get a full 50% off everything they order.. This through November 30. We're also hoping to make
Paypal available online in the near future as well. Although for now it's still the mail.

Spoke to Charles Marchant who wrote Mad King's Dungeon this afternoon. He said his source code is probably on a 3½" floppy diskette, and his kid plays with the diskettes as toys.... he
doesn't even have a 3½" floppy drive to retrieve the data should it be on a diskette. I offered to schedule a FedEx pickup for the diskettes if he'd give me a box size and weight and
I'd pay for the shipping. Hoping he will just put all the diskettes he has in a box and let me have them, I'll see what I can retrieve off them.

Got the source code for "Lords of Irongate" today from Rick Rojas. He actually converted this old door to a Java based MMORPG at some point in the past, but has since stopped working on it
as well. You can see the last bit of info on it here: Enchanted Goods - LOI. He is looking for other source code he might have for
other doors & utilities he may have written. Heck, I am trying to urge him to keep the Java LOI going :). I might have to get a copy and see what it's all about.

I got a surpirse email this morning from Tony Street... Death by Adrenaline would be his most famous claim to fame. He signed up at the forums and you can conact him through the forums if
you like. For those that don't read the forums, here is a copy of his email:

Subject: I'm one of your lost programmers
Holy crap, I was bored & decided to search Google for some games I wrote as a teenager and I can't believe they're still around. Much less that people were looking for me!
I created an account on your forum but just wanted to email you personally and let you know what's up. I'm Tony Street a.k.a. The Pyromaniac Headbanger. I did business as
"TPH Software" and wrote Runaway and Death By Adrenaline.
I sold the rights to my 2 games + one in development (Spacebattle 4000) in August of 1995 for about $1500, as registrations were drying up and I was taking off to college and didn't
care to support them anymore. The guy who bought the rights, I never heard from him again. I don't remember anything about him, except he lived out in the midwest somewhere. And as far
as I know, he never continued development on any of them.
Unfortunately, all the source code and keygen programs were lost in a hard drive crash.
I personally don't have a problem with anyone cracking my games. In fact I wouldn't mind a cracked version myself. I loaded up DBA and Runaway and I couldn't remember how to play. How sad
is that, I'm a n00b at my own game?! :)
BTW, you couldn't find me because you had the wrong name. Anthony is my middle name.
I miss the BBS culture. Damn you, Internet! :) Anyways, feel free to contact me with further questions.

I have been running my BBS since 02/15/80, my BBS started on an old CP/M machine running a home grown modem answering software
that allowed callers to post a message and read messages or local news information and weather. The BBS started as * The Olde West *.
Later I ran shareware software (Phoenix RCS) from about 1985-2002, and a front end mailer (PreNM - written by Larry Houbre). This front
end allowed me to run multiple BBS', one of which was dedicated to games (GameMaster's Realm). The GameMaster's Realm is the one that
remains today. We receive about 80 logins per day and have over 350+ REGISTERED doors running under Synchronet.
With the decline of BBSes, programmers stopped supporting and/or writing doors for BBSes. There are but a handfull of programmers still
working on BBS Doors. I discovered when I converted my BBS from dial up to telnet that a large majority of my doors no longer ran. In
the process of aquiring more doors for my BBS, I found getting registration keys was almost impossible in some cases. I have spent many
hours locating many old door programmers and either asking them to release the reg code software or a version not required to be registered.
Some I have even purchased the source code so they can be updated to run with today's BBS software.
My goal here is to provide as many doors as possible that can still be registered so new and old sysops can run non-crippled doors
on their systems. I will help anyone locate a programmer if they can still be located and attempt to get a registration key for any door.
So if you need help, just drop me a line at support@BBSFiles.com
